What happens if I lose an accident claim?
Accident Claims Advice ensure you are covered for costs if your accident claim is unsuccessful:
Your appointed panel solicitor's costs are covered in full through your Conditional Fee Agreement. So should you lose your case, you will not have to pay your solicitor for any work he has done on your behalf.
An insurance policy will be issued to protect you against any potential costs, such as those incurred by your opponent. It is very important that in the unlikely event of your accident claim being unsuccessful, or reaching an unsatisfactory conclusion, that you will be protected against any costs claim made against you.
If your case is successful, all of your reasonable and recoverable legal costs will be paid by the third party who has been found responsible for your accident - including the cost of the insurance premium. If for any reason your accident claim is unsuccessful, the insurance policy will cover you for all costs involved.
Our specialist solicitors will guide you through this process and ensure that adequate protection is in place for you.
